Risk reduction measures on the sunken submarine U-864 containing 70 tons Mercury

Miko Marine AS was awarded a contract to present an alternative concept for the removal of 70 Tons of Mercury trapped in the sunken submarine U-864 outside Fedje Norway. The submarine now at 150 m water depth and unsheltered waters, – was sunk in 1944. The condition of the wreck and canisters containing the Mercury is uncertain.

250 French Navy vessels equipped with Miko Plaster kits

Last month, the French Navy, through Miko’s French agent, Le Floch Depollution SA declared the second option of the contract to furnish all vessels with Emergency Repair Kits and Tanker Kits containing magnetic patches to close openings on “punctured” vessel.
